BioCirc Group has acquired VICUS Biogas, one of the largest farm facility biogas plants in Denmark. VICUS Biogas ApS, which was founded in 2014, runs a biogas plant in Hammel, Denmark, that can supply biogas to more than 4,300 households on an annual basis. The Company secures its biomass, which is used in the production of biogas, from the Company’s own chicken farms, and through agreements with farmers to supply biomass. BDO Corporate Finance assisted BioCirc Group with financial due diligence on the acquisition. Our Corporate Finance department has thereby advised and assisted BioCirc Group, which has an ambition to become the world's largest biogas producer, since its establishment in 2022, and has thus advised on all its eight biogas-related acquisitions to date. This acquisition further solidifies BioCirc as one of the largest biogas producers in Denmark.
